Alberta Rangers themselves are participants who volunteer a portion of their time at LEA sanctioned events in service of the safety and well-being of our participants and our regional community. Our Rangers act as non-confrontational community mediators, providers of reliable information, and facilitators of public safety. Alberta Rangers are trained and organized Rangers that take into consideration every aspect of the 10 principles and consent. If you see someone at an LEA event wearing a green and gold “Alberta Rangers” t-shirt they are on-shift, and they are there for you.
The Alberta Rangers Committee provides:
- A leadership team to oversee the Alberta Ranger volunteers
- Active conflict mediation
- Training programs
- Support to event production
- Information & resources
- Outreach and education of Burning Man community Principles and ideologies
